The ceramic mechanical shaft seal is a key sealing element of the pool pump, which prevents water from leaking from the hydraulic part into the area of the electric motor. The ceramic material of the sliding surface significantly extends the seal’s service life compared to standard versions.
The seal is intended for Maxim pumps and counter-current units and is manufactured precisely to the specifications of the original. A damaged shaft seal causes water to drip beneath the pump and can lead to a short circuit of the electric motor.
