The CLT probe is a membrane electrochemical probe for the direct measurement of total chlorine in water without the need for an external current transducer.
The electrochemical measuring system is separated from the pool water by a special permeable membrane: chlorine diffuses through the membrane and generates a voltage at the electrode system proportional to its concentration.
The probe is compatible with the ASIN AQUA Profi and WT CL measuring systems; it requires a galvanically isolated power supply, which prevents interference from other pool electronics.
The electrode service life is approximately 4 years, while the cover membrane is replaced once a year (depending on temperature, contaminants and fat content in the water), ensuring consistently accurate chlorine detection.
