The seal under the lever of the six-way valve forms a watertight joint between the moving lever and the valve body. When the seal wears or deforms, water begins to seep around the lever, which reduces the pressure in the filtration and can cause valve failure.
The replacement seal is made of an elastomer resistant to chlorinated water and pool chemistry and precisely matches a standard six-way valve. Replacement is quick – the lever is removed, the old seal is taken out and the new one is fitted without the need to drain the pool.
