The thermometer pocket is used to safely seat the temperature sensor in the pressurised section of the pipework, without the sensor having to pass directly into the pressurised flowing water. The 1/4″ thread provides compatibility with thermometers and sensors of Asin Aqua systems.
The pocket material exhibits high resistance to corrosion caused by chlorinated water and pH-adjustment chemicals. Installation is simple – the pocket is screwed into a T-piece or saddle outlet on the pipe circuit of the dosing station.
When replacing the thermometer, simply pull the sensor out of the pocket without having to drain the system – the pipe circuit remains pressurised, unchanged. Particularly suitable for continuous temperature measurement in automation systems with heating control.
