The CLF chlorine sensor is a membrane electrochemical sensor for direct, continuous measurement of free chlorine in pool water. A special membrane separates the electrochemical system from the measured water – chlorine diffuses through the membrane and generates a voltage proportional to its concentration, which the controller evaluates without the need for an external transmitter.
The electrode’s service life is approximately 4 years, while the service life of the cover membrane depends on the operating conditions (temperature, grease, impurities) and is around 1 year. The electrolyte must be topped up regularly at intervals depending on the water temperature.
The sensor requires a galvanically isolated power supply and is primarily intended for the Asin Aqua and WT CL automation systems. Accurate, continuous measurement of free chlorine enables immediate regulation of dosing and maintenance of ideal hygienic water quality.
