The profiled seal is a key element for the safe installation of the Minisalt cell – it prevents water leakage between the cell body and the flange or union nut. The shaped profile of the seal precisely follows the contact surfaces of the cell and ensures even distribution of the tightening forces.
The seal material withstands contact with salt water, chlorine and the temperature fluctuations typical of pool operation. We recommend replacing the seal each time the cell is dismantled in order to maintain an optimal joint without the risk of leakage.
