The 90° elbow is one of the most commonly used fittings in pool piping systems – it allows a change in pipe direction without bending the pipe, which would reduce the cross-section and increase hydraulic losses. The combination of solvent weld and thread (W/T) provides flexibility when connecting to various types of fittings.
The 50 mm diameter corresponds to standard piping for pool pumps with a flow of up to approximately 25 m³/h. The 2″ male thread allows direct screwing onto threaded fittings, valves or hose tails without the need for additional adapter parts.
The PVC-U material resists chlorinated water, pH regulators and temperatures up to 60 °C. The smooth inner surface minimizes turbulence and deposits. Installation by solvent welding ensures permanent tightness for pipes according to DIN 8063.
