The hose tail is the connection point where the hose enters the body of the chlorinator or doser. Cracking or wear of the tail causes leakage of the chlorinated solution and inaccurate dosing, which endangers both water quality and operator safety.
The replacement tail is designed for in-line chlorinators with the numbers 24429 and 24430 and is made of a material resistant to concentrated chlorine. The diameter of the tail matches standard pool hoses, so the hose does not need to be modified in any way.
Replacement takes minutes: disconnect the hose, unscrew the old tail from the chlorinator body and replace it with a new one. When replacing the tail, we also recommend checking the condition of the hose and the connecting clamps to maintain the tightness of the entire joint.
