The electronic transformer is the power supply unit of the UV sterilizer that provides a stable power supply to the flash or low-pressure UV lamp with power consumption of 40 W and 16 W. Without a functioning transformer the lamp does not work and the pool remains without UV disinfection.
The transformer is designed for continuous operation and contains protection against overload and short circuit of the UV lamp. A correct power supply extends the service life of the UV source and maintains the constant radiation intensity necessary for reliable disinfection of pool water.
Replacement of the transformer is an economically advantageous alternative to purchasing an entire new UV sterilizer. When replacing it, ensure compliance with the electrical parameters and correct wiring according to the manufacturer’s diagram.
