The socket nipple S/M with male thread d63 × 1″ made of PVC-U enables a transition from pipes of 63 mm diameter to threaded fittings with a 1 inch female thread. This size is used in particular when connecting medium-output pumps and shut-off fittings to pool pipework.
The glued socket on the d63 side ensures a permanent connection with no risk of leakage, the threaded side is sealed as standard with PTFE tape. PVC-U withstands chlorine, pH adjustment products and the UV radiation typical of outdoor installations. The nipple is an ideal adapter part when combining different pipe systems.
