The trim collar is a mounting element designed for attaching and sealing the UV lamp at the point where it passes through a pipe or wall of the filtration equipment.
A correctly fitted collar prevents water leakage around the lamp entry and at the same time forms an aesthetic transition between the lamp and the piping.
The part is made of materials resistant to moisture and UV radiation, so it retains its properties throughout the service life of the lamp.
We recommend replacing the collar whenever replacing the UV lamp or when leakage is detected at the attachment point.
