The six-way valve disc is a key component that ensures correct switching between the filtration modes – filtration, backwashing, rinsing, draining, and recirculation. The original Astral part (ref. 00599) guarantees precise seating and reliable sealing in all positions.
The package includes a complete seal, so that no additional components need to be obtained when replacing the disc. The seal material is compatible with both chlorine and oxygen pool chemicals.
Replacement of the disc is usually necessary when water leakage between the valve ports is observed or when the efficiency of filter backwashing is reduced. The replacement procedure can be carried out by an experienced pool owner without special tools.
