The PVC-U plug with a 1/2″ BSP female thread serves to close unused outlets, ports or connections in pool fittings, manifolds and filters. Thanks to the PVC-U material it resists chlorinated water and pool chemistry throughout the entire operation of the installation.
The 1/2″ thread is the most widespread dimension for small connections and plugs in pool technology and is used in combination with reducing sockets, T-pieces or straight fittings with port outlets. The plug is easily screwed in by hand or with a wrench and sealed with Teflon tape or thread sealant.
The firm one-piece design of the plug guarantees a reliable closure of the opening even at higher working pressure. The PVC-U material is hygienically safe and suitable for installations in contact with water intended for bathing.
