The 90° PVC-U elbow with a diameter of 32 mm and a 1″ BSP female thread serves to change the direction of the pipe run by 90° and simultaneously allows the connection of a threaded fitting or device with a 1″ male thread. The fitting is designed for the PN16 pressure class common in pool installations.
The 32 mm diameter with a 1″ thread is used when connecting medium-sized pumps, filters or electrolyzers at points where it is necessary to change the direction of the pipe routing. The smooth internal cross-section of the elbow minimizes hydraulic losses during water flow.
The PVC-U material resists all standard pool chemicals throughout the entire service life of the installation and requires no anti-corrosion treatment. The elbow can be combined with other fittings of the PVC-U system for a complete piping solution of the pool technology.
