The replacement cell for the EcoMatik BMSC 13 salt chlorinator is a key operating part of the salt water electrolyser, which electrochemically produces chlorine directly from the NaCl solution in the pool water.

The titanium electrodes coated with a layer of precious metals (MMO coating) ensure high efficiency of chlorine production and resistance to the aggressive environment of salt water even during continuous operation.

Replacing the cell after wear (typically after 3–7 years of operation depending on water quality and operating conditions) is significantly more economical than purchasing a whole new salt chlorinator unit.
