The front cover is an original spare part for the Astral 300 W underwater luminaire with catalogue number 7856, which has been replaced by the newer model 74847 – existing installations can still be serviced with this compatible part.
The cover protects the glass viewing lens and the encapsulated bulb from impacts, abrasion from floating objects and the chemical effects of pool water.
A correctly fitted and sealed front cover is a condition for the operational safety of underwater lighting; a damaged or cracked cover must be replaced immediately.
Installation does not require special tools – the cover is fastened using the original screw connection and is sealed with a rubber O-ring, which is part of the luminaire assembly.
