The reducing nipple female/male thread PVC d1 1/2″×1/2″ PN16 achieves a significant narrowing of the threaded connection from a 1 1/2″ female thread to a 1/2″ BSP male thread. It is designed for the PN16 pressure rating and typical pool operating conditions.
The PVC-U material is resistant to all standard pool chemicals and does not leach any harmful substances into the water. The precise thread design guarantees tightness when using PTFE tape.
The fitting finds application when connecting pressure gauges, drain valves or sensors to main pipe branches with a larger thread diameter.
