The pre-filter basket of the Badu Magic II pump forms the first filtration barrier in the pool’s circulation circuit. It captures leaves, hair, insects and other coarse particles before they reach the pump’s sensitive hydraulics.
The basket’s plastic mesh construction minimises hydraulic resistance while reliably trapping debris. Its precise shape and dimensions ensure a snug, play-free fit inside the pre-filter housing.
We recommend cleaning the basket at least once a week and whenever there is any noticeable drop in pump flow. Replace a damaged or deformed basket immediately to prevent debris from entering the pump.
