The 54×2.5 mm seal is a key element of the watertight connection of the flange collar to the inlet/outlet port of the SENA pump. It is placed between the pump port and the collar of the pipe connection.
A hardened or cracked seal is the most common cause of water leakage at the pipe connection to the pump. Replacement is a simple and negligibly priced repair that immediately eliminates the problem.
The seal is made of a flexible material resistant to chlorinated water, temperature fluctuations and standard pool chemicals. We recommend replacement whenever the pipe connection is disassembled.
