Overly soft water in the pool is aggressive and causes corrosion of metal parts, disruption of concrete and of laminate or liner surfaces. CTX 22 is a preparation based on calcium chloride that increases the total hardness of pool water to the optimal value of 200-400 mg/l.
The granulate is precisely weighed out, dissolved in a larger amount of water in a plastic container, and the solution is poured evenly over the pool surface with the filtration running. Check the water hardness regularly with a tester or test strips.
The 5 kg packaging is sufficient for adjusting the hardness in pools with a volume of 50-100 m³ depending on the initial value. The preparation is suitable for all types of pools and disinfection systems. For the correct result, keep the water pH in the range of 7.2-7.6 and the alkalinity at a value of 80-150 mg/l.
