Phenol Red (DPD Phenol) tablets are reagents designed for tablet colorimetric testers for measuring the pH value of pool water. The correct pH value is crucial for the effectiveness of disinfection, the comfort of bathers and the protection of pool materials against corrosion. Each tablet provides clear colour indications of the pH value in the range of 6.8–8.2.
The pack of 10 tablets covers regular measurement throughout the entire pool season. The tablets are intended exclusively for tablet testers – they cannot be used with drop testers. Storage in a cool, dark place preserves the accuracy and stability of the reagent throughout its shelf life.
