The Ocean tester for measuring pH and chlorine content is a simple yet accurate device for ongoing monitoring of pool water quality. It includes cuvettes, reagent tablets and a colour scale for evaluating the measured values.
The procedure is easy: pool water is collected in the cuvette, a reagent tablet is added (DPD for chlorine or a pH indicator for acidity), the water changes colour and the resulting colour is compared with the scale. The entire measurement takes less than a minute.
The optimal pH range is 6.8–7.6, the recommended chlorine level is 0.1–0.5 mg/l. The set contains material for 20 measurements and is the ideal starter equipment for pool owners who want to keep their water under control without investing in a digital tester.
