The hose tail for gluing d38×50 made of ABS plastic connects a flexible hose with a diameter of 38 mm to PVC pipe d50 by gluing – the joint is thus permanently firm and watertight, independent of any mechanical seal.
The ribbed hose part holds the hose reliably once fitted and the clamp tightened, while the glued part of the shaped part forms a chemical bond with the PVC pipe. The d38–d50 transition covers a typical dimension step in pool pipework.
The ABS material in white withstands long-term contact with pool water, chemicals and direct sunlight. The hose tail is used in the construction or renovation of pool cleaning and circulation systems.
