The Short Reducer adhesive/female thread d20–1/4 made of PVC-U is a transition fitting for connecting fittings with a small 1/4″ male thread to d20 plastic pipe. The 1/4″ female thread is most often used for pressure, flow or temperature sensors in pool automation.
The PVC-U material is resistant to chemicals and chlorinated water. The smooth d20 solvent-weld socket ensures a firm and watertight joint with standard PVC adhesive; the threaded part is sealed with PTFE tape or silicone thread.
The fitting is ideal for dosing stations, pool chemistry control systems and UV sterilisers where sensors and probes are fitted with a standard 1/4″ thread.
