The T-Piece 90° d50–1 1/4 with the adhesive/male thread combination made of PVC-U allows branching of the main d50 pipe route with a direct branch fitted with a 1 1/4″ male thread. The fitting thus performs a dual function – it branches the pipework and at the same time creates a threaded connection for fittings or equipment.
The smooth d50 solvent-weld sockets ensure a firm joint with standard PVC adhesive; the male thread is sealed with PTFE tape or silicone thread for secure sealing of the threaded fitting. The PVC-U material withstands the aggressive environment of pool water throughout its lifetime.
It is used, for example, for a branch to a pressure gauge, air bleed, check valve or pressure sensor on the main suction or discharge d50 pipework.
