The Short Reducer d32–16 made of PVC-U serves to change the pipe route dimension from a 32 mm diameter to 16 mm in pressure bonded installations with PN16. The shorter construction length minimises installation space, while the geometry of the internal flow cross-section is smooth for low pressure losses.
The PVC-U material is resistant to chlorinated water, peroxide disinfectant preparations and temperature cycles. The reducer is compatible with standard PVC adhesive and cleaner.
Suitable uses include connecting the main suction or discharge pipework with thin secondary lines – for example to water quality sensors, dosing pumps or connecting hoses of hot tubs.
