The short reducer d63–25 PN16 made of PVC-U serves to directly transition between pipe with a diameter of 63 mm and 25 mm in solvent-welded pressure installations. Thanks to its compact length, it minimises the installation space while maintaining maximum flow rate.
PVC-U material is resistant to the chemicals contained in pool water, to UV radiation and to the temperatures common in pool operation. The smooth bonding surfaces ensure a strong joint with minimal surface preparation requirements – simply clean, degrease and apply PVC adhesive.
This fitting is used when connecting pumps, filters or other hydraulic components with a specific inlet diameter to a main distribution pipe of a larger dimension.
