PTFE Tape 12 mm × 10 m × 0.1 mm

This top-quality PTFE tape is an essential part of every threaded-joint installation in pressure systems – from pool hydraulics through central heating to compressed-air pipework.

The tape is resistant to friction and at the same time performs a lubricating function, which makes it easier to tighten threads to the point of self-sealing. Unlike hemp sealing, water does not draw the tape in or cause it to swell, so the joints remain hermetically sealed even after repeated disassembly.

The dimensions of 12 mm × 10 m × 0.1 mm provide optimal coverage on standard pipe threaded joints – usually 7 turns on a clean, degreased thread is sufficient. The tape is wound under tension in the direction of the thread.
