UV-C TECH 40W UV Lamp (Pink Cap)

Replacement UV lamp with an output of 40 W and a pink cap for UV sterilisers of the UV-C TECH series. When lit, the lamp intensively emits ultraviolet radiation and is hermetically sealed in a housing that does not transmit UV rays.

Principle and application

UV-C radiation is lethally dangerous to most organisms and therefore destroys algae, parasites, fungi, viruses, yeasts and bacteria contained in water without the use of chemicals. Ultraviolet radiation is invisible electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of 4-400 nm and a frequency of 10^15-10^17 Hz, makes up less than 5 % of the solar spectrum and is located between visible light and X-rays. It consists of the components UVA, UVB and UVC.
