BESGO is a pneumatic 5-way valve designed for backwashing the filter tank. Switching of the valve is provided by water pressure from the mains or an air compressor, and the return closure is handled automatically by a spring.
The advantage is maximum operational safety – the position can be changed even with the filtration pump running, although it is always preferable and safer to switch the valve without water flow. In the event of a power failure, the valve automatically returns to the „FILTRATION“ position, so there is no risk of jamming in an intermediate position or unintentional draining of the pool, as with mechanically damaged automatic 6-way valves.
