The TEMP KIT provides temperature measurement for the VA SALT SMART and VA HYDROSALT units. For the temperature probe, a SEKO probe holder and a tapping part for the pipe with a 1/2″ IN thread (according to the required diameter) must be purchased separately.
On the VA SALT SMART version (V90), salinity measurement is handled by software calculation based on temperature measurement and voltage at 100% output. The salinity is displayed continuously at full output in 100% manual mode, or it is automatically updated during the self-cleaning process (polarity reversal at 100% output).
