The DPD No. 4 test tablets are used to measure the active oxygen (Oxygen) value in pool water. Regular checking is essential for keeping the water crystal clear.
First measure the water values, and if they are not within the standard (pH 6.9–7.4; O2 3.0–8.0 mg/l), adjust them with pool chemicals. Always adjust the pH first and only then the Oxygen. Only increase the Oxygen – do not lower an excessively high value, it will drop on its own within a few days. Oxygen is applied only after adjusting the pH, because outside the recommended pH values its effectiveness drops rapidly.
