The transparent sight glass is a small but important spare part of the Astral 00599 6-way filter valve. Thanks to it, the operator can see at a glance whether water is flowing through, as well as the presence of bubbles or impurities.
The original sight glass exactly matches the dimensions of the valve, so after replacement it seals correctly and there is no water leakage even under pressure. Replacement is quick and requires no specialist tools.
Regular inspection of the transparent sight glass is part of preventive filter maintenance; a clouded or cracked sight glass should be replaced immediately to maintain operational clarity.
