The gasket under the lid is a key sealing component of the pre-filter of Sena and Compact pumps, which prevents air from entering the suction system and water from leaking out of the basket.
A leaking lid causes air pockets in the pump, a drop in flow rate and characteristic hissing or noise during the operation of the unit.
Replacing the gasket is recommended preventively every two seasons or immediately upon detecting a leak at the pre-filter lid.
The part is compatible with both the Sena and Compact pump series, and its installation requires no special tools.
