The body seal of the M-Swimm pump is an original spare part that prevents seepage of water from the pump section into the motor section of the device. A damaged seal manifests as dripping water or moisture in the area of the electric motor, which can lead to its short circuit and irreversible damage.
The part is made of a material resistant to chlorinated water, the operating pressure of the pump and the temperatures of the pool water. The precise shaping guarantees correct seating in the groove without the need for any adjustments.
Replacing the seal is part of the standard servicing of the M-Swimm pump and we recommend doing it preventively every 2–3 seasons or immediately upon detecting a water leak. Installation can be handled by a skilled home handyman according to the pump’s service manual.
