The NORM EVO heat pump with an output of 6 kW is designed for heating smaller private pools with a volume of up to 50 m³. It is equipped with step inverter technology, which minimises the inrush current to 0 A when switched on and gradually increases it to the rated value over approximately 2 minutes. This prevents sharp voltage surges and spares the household electrical grid.
The heating principle is based on transferring thermal energy from the air to the supercooled refrigerant inside the pump; compressing the refrigerant in the compressor generates heat, which warms the pool water.
