VArio – ZELIO DIN module 24 V (control unit for STARWAY valves)

The ZELIO DIN module can be used either standalone for controlling motorised STARWAY valves, or integrated into the VArio pool control system. When connected to the VArio system, communication takes place in the same way as with the automatic 6-way OMNITRONIC or AQUASTAR valves. The module is compatible with VArio PUMPS and SWITCH modules from version 1.3 (516302 / 516303 and higher).

Functions

The ZELIO module independently controls motorised STARWAY valves, with the option to set backwash times and the frequency (period) of filter backwashing, including control of the filter pump and compressor. When connected to a PUMPS or SWITCH module, the system receives the backwash request, adjusts the pump operation and signals the ongoing backwash just as if an OMNITRONIC or AQUASTAR valve were connected.
