The FIP electric three-way ball valve in the L-port version with a diameter of 50 mm is used to divert or mix flow in the piping. The model range covers diameters from 16 mm to 63 mm (R 3/8″ to 2″) with a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar at 20 °C.
The precise design of the connecting unions allows easy removal of the valve from the system at all three connection points. The ball obturator is supplied as standard in the T configuration and, on request, in the L configuration. Safely locked seats allow the liquid to be drained from the piping even with the obturator in the closed position. The new seat and Seat Stop seal design ensures axial pressure locking in the pipe and fine adjustment of the obturator seats. The electric actuator is manufactured to FIP specifications.
The standard supply also includes manual emergency override with an optical position indicator and two limit switches. In some installations the valve must be supported by hangers or anchors capable of bearing the weight and the stresses transmitted by the valve body; design the support systems with regard to the expansion and contraction of the piping.
