The FIP electric two-way ball valve is used to shut off flow in pipework, typically in solar systems. The 50 mm diameter version is fitted with a 230 V electric actuator manufactured to FIP specifications.
The valve withstands a maximum working pressure of 16 bar at 20 °C. Its design features securely locked seats that allow the pipe to be drained even when the valve is in the closed position. The new seat design and the Seat Stop seal ensure axial pressure locking within the pipe and precise fine-tuning of the valve seats.
The standard delivery includes manual emergency override with an optical position indicator and two limit switches. In some installations the valve must be supported by hangers or anchors capable of bearing the weight and stress transmitted by the valve body during servicing; the support systems should be designed with allowance for pipe expansion and contraction.
