pH MINUS is used to lower the pH value of water in pools and hot tubs. The ideal pH range for both chlorine and chlorine-free disinfection is 7.2-7.6. If the pH drops too low, metal parts may corrode and plastic colours may fade faster; conversely, at a value above 7.6 there is a risk of cloudy water, algae formation and irritation of the eyes and skin.
Properties
Yellowish beads that dissolve well in water. The aqueous solution reacts acidically and therefore easily lowers the water pH.
Dosing
10 g of the product per 1 m³ of water lowers the pH value by 0.1. Stir the measured dose in a container with water and add it to the pool or hot tub with the circulation running.
Safety
Danger! H318 Causes serious eye damage. Use protective gloves, clothing and goggles. In case of eye contact, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes, remove contact lenses and immediately call a poison control centre or doctor. Keep out of reach of children, tightly closed in a dry place. Do not mix with other chemicals.
