The D50 PN16 union is used to connect pipes in the water circuit of a hot tub. The connection is made by solvent welding – it has two openings for gluing in 50 mm pipe. Before gluing, the joints must be thoroughly cleaned, a thin layer of adhesive applied, the joints pushed together and left undisturbed for about 5 minutes before continuing.
