Hoses & Pipes

Flexible PVC hoses and pipes for pool and hot tub plumbing - flexi hose in diameters from 20 to 125 mm by the metre and in full 25 m packs, PROTECT hose with a chlorine-resistant layer, pressure PVC pipes and vacuum hoses. In-stock items ship within 48 hours, with shipping across the EU. How to find the right size In pool plumbing the size is given by the outside diameter, because fittings are glued onto it - a 50 mm hose has an outside diameter of 50 mm and an inside diameter of 42 mm. Choose fittings and valves by the same outside diameter, not by the bore. For pressure pipes the designation also includes the wall thickness, for example 110/4.2 mm. If you need a longer run, a 25 m pack works out cheaper than buying by the metre. Flexi hose or rigid pipe Flexi hose bends around a corner without elbows and tolerates slight ground movement well, which is why it is used mainly for connecting the equipment and in places where rigid pipe would crack. Rigid pipe is stiffer and better suited to long straight runs in the ground. Transparent pipe is fitted where you want to see the water flow, for example after the filter. You will find more pressure pipework in diameters up to 315 mm in the category PVC Pipe. What to watch out for For hoses permanently filled with chlorinated water, choose the PROTECT version with a protective layer. Joints are glued with PVC-U adhesive, not silicone. You will find fittings for connections in the category PVC Fittings, and tails for connecting a vacuum hose in the category Hose Tails. Who this category is for Pool and hot tub owners repairing or rebuilding their plumbing, and installation firms. The shop is run by IDOL SPAS s.r.o., a Czech hot tub manufacturer with its own service team. We offer service companies and dealers a wholesale programme with individual pricing.
