The Vagner F1 series is single-phase (230 V), the F3 series three-phase (400 V), and the letters in the designation tell you what the controller switches: V is heat-exchanger heating, E12 and E18 electric heating of 12 or 18 kW, S lighting, P1 and P3 counter-current at 230 or 400 V, and DIGI a digital thermostat. The modular VArio controllers go further – besides filtration, lights and counter-current up to 3.5 kW they can control a heat pump, attractions and chemical dosing, either without its own measurement (A) or with its own measurement (C). We list the Vagner electro-pneumatic counter-current control in IP65 separately, for current ranges of 4–6.3 A, 6–10 A and 9–14 A. How to choose Start from three figures: the supply (230 or 400 V), the rated current of the pump and the heat source. The controller must cover the draw of your specific pump and match whether you heat with a heat exchanger, an electric heater or a heat pump – you will find heat sources in the Heating category. Also allow some spare module capacity so the panel can accommodate a later expansion with lights or attractions. Controls and components for the panel PRO PIEZO 1, 3 and 5 touch piezo units are available in box and DIN-rail versions, optionally with an integrated remote-control receiver; they are complemented by key-fob transmitters for 2, 4 or 6 channels, an external antenna with a 2.5 m coaxial cable and piezo buttons with 2.5, 3, 8 and 15 m cables. For your own assembly we stock 1- to 4-pole contactors for 16, 25 and 40 A (also with manual override), 20, 32 and 40 A switches, daily time switches including versions with power reserve, 230 V impulse relays, 3–8 A priority relays, single- and three-level level monitoring, DIN-rail indicator lamps and thermostats for DIN rails, panel mounting and stand-alone IP 55 enclosures.
