The adapter spigot G/Flex d50 made of PVC-U is a shaped part designed for the transition from rigid glued pipe d50 to a flexible hose d50. One side is fitted with a smooth glued socket for a firm joint with rigid pipe or a fitting, the other side is shaped as a tail for inserting the flexible hose.
The shaped part greatly simplifies combining the rigid and flexible parts of pipework – typically when connecting a pump, filter or counter-current unit, where part of the run is routed with rigid pipe and part with a flexible hose. The PVC-U material withstands chlorinated water and pool chemicals.
The connection to the flexible hose is recommended to be secured with a hose clamp for maximum tightness. Suitable for new installations and for pool renovations where there is a transition from rigid to flexible routing.
