Adapter Nipple with Thread M/F 1/2″ × 3/8″

The adapter nipple M/F 1/2″ × 3/8″ is a standard hydraulic connector enabling a transition between two different thread sizes in a pipework system. The 1/2″ male thread (G 1/2″) is used for screw connection into a valve body or device, while the 3/8″ female thread (G 3/8″) accepts pipework or accessories of a smaller diameter.

This type of adapter is commonly used when installing pressure gauges, pressure sensors or flow meters into pool pipework systems, where the device manufacturer and the pipe manufacturer use different thread standards.
