The Adaptor Solvent/Male Thread made of PVC-U for diameter d40 with a 1¼” male thread serves to directly connect pool pipework to fittings, pumps or filters with a threaded inlet.
The solvent-weld socket connects to the PVC pipe with standard adhesive; the threaded section is sealed with PTFE tape or liquid sealant.
The PVC-U material resists chlorinated water, pool chemicals and direct UV radiation, so the fitting serves for a long time without surface corrosion.
