Alkalinity+ Profipool is a granular product based on sodium bicarbonate that increases the total alkalinity of pool water and creates a stable pH buffer system. The recommended value of total alkalinity of pool water ranges between 80–175 g/m³ CaCO₃ and corresponds to the optimal pH for effective disinfection with chlorine as well as alternative additives. Low alkalinity causes frequent and significant pH fluctuations, while excessively high alkalinity makes pH correction difficult and increases acid consumption. The product is suitable for both chlorine and chlorine-free water treatment methods and acts as a supporting agent for all types of disinfection. The 0.9 kg pack is sufficient for a one-time correction in pools with a volume of up to approximately 30–40 m³. Dosing is carried out by dissolving in a bucket of water and pouring evenly across the pool surface.
