The AQUASTAR automatic control valve for V6 (230 V) is designed for fully automatic control of pool filter backwashing. It supports time-based triggering via switch positions as well as triggering via a pressure switch, so backwashing always takes place at the right moment without an operator being present.
The improved generation introduces key new functions: external release of backwashing, error messages to prevent system failures, a multifunction relay for pump monitoring, an optical position indicator and an emergency handle for manual operation during a power outage. In the event of a power failure, the valve automatically returns to the Filtration position and prevents accidental draining of the pool.
The IP65 rating guarantees full protection against moisture. The valve can be mounted as a side or top mount on filter vessels with a 1½” or 2″ connection. PVC fittings and screw connections for quick installation are included; the valve is also compatible with Praher EO510 electrical terminals.
