The PVC backing ring d63 is used to create an easily demountable flanged connection on pipework of dimension 63 mm. The rotating collar is seated on the bonded socket and allows flanged tightening with bolts without intervening in the pipe route during any replacement of components.
Manufacture from PVC-U guarantees resistance to chlorine, acids and other chemicals in pool water. The d63 dimension is used for medium flows in pool circulation and filtration systems.
The flange is designed for combination with the flange sockets of pumps, filters, valves and other components with a corresponding nominal bore. The standard drilling of the flange collar ensures compatibility with common counterparts in pool technology.
