The PVC backing ring d75 is designed for the demountable flanged connection of PVC pipework with a diameter of 75 mm to pumps, filters or fittings. The PVC-U rotating collar slides onto the pipe, is placed against the counter-flange and the bolts are tightened without the need to bond or cut the pipework.
The PVC-U material resists chlorine, acids and other chemicals in pool water throughout the entire service life of the installation. The d75 dimension is typical for more powerful circulation systems and supply branches to filters or counter-current units.
The loose design of the flange allows easy dismantling of the connection during a service intervention or pump replacement without the need to saw the pipework. The standard drilling is compatible with flange counterparts from common manufacturers of pool technology.
